Intro

When my son was a toddler I created an online journal to document all the cute things he said & did. Eventually, life got in the way (AKA Kid 2.0) and so one day I printed all my entries & deleted the journal. I realize now how thankful I am that I printed all those entries because even though you think, as a mom, you will never forget those things you do!
So with that, I now find myself a full-time stay at home mom to a 9 year old son, "Rylan," and a 4 year old daughter, "Rowan."  My kids could not be more different.
A little background: Rylan is a quiet, shy, sweet kid with a friendly disposition. He loves all things military, guns and ammo, video games and Lego. He is a fantastic artist & has just this year found his love for reading. He is in the cub scouts & plays baseball. Rylan typically does what he is told to do, although, he doesn't have much patience for his sister.

On the other hand, Rowan is a force of nature. She is boisterous, fiercely independent, and likes to test her limits. Rowan lives to tell me she "doesn't need any help!" She loves to sing & color. She likes mermaids, princesses, dresses & shoes. She also loves books & began ballet this past year. She is my "Pigtails" and Rylan is my "Shotgun Shells."

My favorite thing about both my children is their inherent sense of humor. Their laughs are infectious. Laughter makes my world go around.  Thankfully we laugh in this house or else I'd be in the insane asylum by now. No, seriously. So, I'm going to blog about my life with crazy kids...the good, the bad, the ugly. I must warn you, I post lots of photos & I am not the most politically correct person. I have been known to use, uh-um..."colorful" language.  If that offends you, this may not be the blog for you!
